It all started 15 years ago when we spotted a distinctive looking brown and orange vase at our local car boot sale, we had no idea we had purchased our first West Germany floor vase made by Scheurich and this is when the addiction began......
Since then, the collection has increased to almost 1000 West Germany pieces gathered from all over Europe, We have met friendly people sharing the same interest and the purpose of this website is to celebrate our "journey" which is far from over are there is so much out there waiting to be discovered.
You will find a selection of our favorite ceramics classified by maker such as BAY KERAMIK, CARSTENS TONNIESHOF, DUMLER & BREIDEN, HALDENSLEBEN JASBA, ROTH, RUSCHA, STREHLA, SCHEURICH, U-KERAMIK and other makers..As there are plenty of books and websites available to help and recognize West Germany ceramics, our aim was not to do the same thing again.
